The purposes of Crime Stoppers are to: - assist the Fayette County law enforcement community in the apprehension and conviction of the perpetrators of serious crime -offer rewards to individuals providing information to Crime Stoppers with leads to the arrest or conviction of perpetrators of serious crime or the clearance of a serious crime - help develop an appreciation throughout the County of the price of criminal activity in the County - motivate the public to cooperate with the Fayette County law enforcement community -Publicize serious crimes that have gone unsolved in an effort to secure information lading to the apprehension of the perpetrators
