Uniontown Area YMCA is partnering with Penn State Extension for Family Time Fun Nights on Mondays from October 1^st through November 12^th. The evenings will include a family dinner, breakout sessions for parents and youth, combined activities, door prizes, and Y time (gym or swimming – optional).

If you or anyone you know suffers with PTSD, please join them for “Fayette County Unites to Help People Coping with PTSD” - a FREE event to be held at Lakeside on Saturday, November 3^rd.

The event will begin at 1:00 p.m. and commemorates Fayette County Paramedic Tommy Dailey who suffered from PTSD and took his life at age 31. It was Tommy’s last request to help people with PTSD. Many inspirational speakers will provide available resources and share experiences coping with PTSD.

The featured speaker will be FDNY Firefighter & 9/11 Hero, David Carpenter, Jr., who responded to the World Trade Center terror attacks and survived the collapsing of the towers, while 343 of his fellow firefighters did not.

The Uniontown Hospital Auxiliary's 28^th annual Festival of Trees will be held now through December 5^th. The main corridor off the hospital lobby has transformed into a seasonal showcase as trees decorated in various themes line the walk way.

Tickets will be sold for a chance to win the tree of your choice with winners being drawn on Wednesday, December 5^th at noon in the Community Rooms. Winners will receive the tree, all decorations and the items on and under the tree. Winners do not need to be present to win.
