Event Description: Douglas Education Center (DEC) will host a Natural Gas Program Open House on Friday, September 6, 2013 starting at 1:00 p.m. at 30 Donner Place located at 30 Donner Avenue, Monessen. Prospective students and families interested in learning more about the Natural Gas Extraction & Distribution Techniques Program are invited to attend. DEC’s Natural Gas Program is a diploma program that combines knowledge of the natural gas industry, safety, CDL training, and heavy equipment all into one. The Natural Gas Program Open House will include information on natural gas field training, CDL training, heavy equipment training, and safety training including OSHA, SafeLand, defensive driving, and CPR. Admissions, financial aid, career services and housing representatives will be on hand to answer any questions. Student loans and grants are available to those who qualify.
