Event Description: The State Theatre is sponsoring a Car Cruise along Main Street and Beeson Avenue, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The event will run between Showings of the classic film "American Graffiti" at 2:00 p.m. and again at 7:00 p.m., on the Big Screen in the Theatre. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 cars. Registration donation of $5.00 per vehicle, beginning at 1:00 p.m. (prior to first film showing), on the corner of Main Street and in the 911 parking lot. All registered vehicle owners get one free movie pass! Movie admission is $5.00 per adult, and $3.00 for seniors age 60 and up. In addition, there will be hot dogs and root beer floats available for purchase, plus music, raffle prizes, and more! Any proceeds from the event benefit the State Theatre Center for the Arts.
