Event Description: 2012 Fayette County Daffodil Day kickoff is scheduled for Friday January 6, 2012. The kickoff will be an open house format from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m., at the Panera Bread in Uniontown, PA. The fundraiser, which historically coincides with the coming of spring, is expected to raise $32,000 locally and more than four million dollars in the state of Pennsylvania. The American Cancer Society and its Daffodil Day volunteers are looking for Pre-Sales Coordinators to help take pre-orders of daffodils. Any company, business, organization, church or school is invited to participate in taking pre-orders.
