Event Description: For 30 years Friendship Hill Association and the National Park Service have joined together to celebrate the life and times of Albert Gallatin - American patriot and Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. FestiFall will be held on Saturday & Sunday, September 17th & 18th, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at Friendship Hill, Gallatin’s frontier estate, in New Geneva (Route 166), a short 12 mile drive south of Uniontown and 11 miles north of Morgantown, WV. The beautiful home and grounds are situated on a high bluff above the Monongahela River. Weekend activities include demonstrations of eighteenth century home skills and crafts, programs on military and frontier life, musical presentations, and tours of the house. Delicious period food is served by costumed members of the Association. And this year students from Albert Gallatin School District will be featured in the festivities. There is plenty of parking and admission is free to the public. Come out and meet young Mr. Gallatin and his wife Hannah. They will be happy to welcome your whole family to their Pennsylvania home!
