Event Description: The pre-walk celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with children’s activities, entertainment and food. The walk will begin at 7:30 p.m. It is a non-competitive walk where participants carry illuminated balloons - red for supporters, white for survivors and gold in memory - to celebrate and commemorate the lives of those affected by blood cancers - leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. The Walk has also partnered with The American Red Cross to collect desperately needed blood. .
