Event Description: Braddock Trail District, Boy Scouts of America announced plans to hold “Tinsel and Treasures”, a holiday themed vendor show on December 12 at the Pechin Firehouse Restaurant. The event will take place from 11:00AM—3:00PM, admission is $8.00 per Adult and children 16 and under are free. District Executive, Matthew Dowling said this event will be a “unique opportunity to do any last minute Christmas Shopping for your friends and family.” With vendor shows on the rise as popular fundraisers, Dowling was quick to point out that this event is different “of course people will be able to shop vendors like Avon, Pampered Chef, Lia Sophia, Watkins, Tastefully Simple and others, but we have some really exciting local artisans, crafters and photographers too.” No stranger to youth programming the Boy Scouts have ensured there will be plenty to do for children who attend the event. Children are welcome to visit with Santa Claus or shop the Santa Secret Store. Family or individual photos will be available from Reflections by Ray. Refreshments will be served and gift wrapping is available!
