Event Description: The 8th Annual Film Festival at will begin Tuesday, October 12th, with film events continuing throughout the month of October. Movies include: Oct. 12—“Passion of Joan of Arc” (1928); Oct. 13—“Hester Street” (1975; Oct. 19—“Earth” (1998); Oct. 20—“Clay Bird” (2002); and Oct. 26—“Seven Years in Tibet” (1997). In conjunction with the start of the film festival is the opening of a juried photography exhibit - presented by the Coalition for Equity - that will be on display through January 12, 2011. A common theme of religion ties the two events together. Both events are free, open to the public and take place in the campus’ Williams Building.
