Event Description: Ballet Lafayette is presenting “The Nutcracker” on: Friday, December 3rd, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (Special discount performances for elementary, Jr High or High school field trip, preschoolers, senior centers, homeschoolers, clubs organizations and special groups), Saturday, December 4th at 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 5th, at 6:00 p.m. The ballet will be show in Connellsville (201 E Fairview Ave); tickets/RSVP’s for performances and groups can be purchased by calling 724-626-0141 or emailing cctrust@zoominternet.net. If you’re interested in sponsoring or advertising in the program please contact them as soon as possible. “Nutcracker” auditions will be held for all dancers’ ages 6 years and up and adult actors with some dance skills, on September 26th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Appropriate attire is required for both dancers and actors for auditions and all rehearsals. (Girls- Black leotard, light pink tights and light pink ballet shoes, hair in a neat bun; Boys - White T-shirts, black jazz pants and black ballet shoes; Actors, Men & Women- Loose fitting clothes, jazz or character shoes).
