Event Description: Society of St. Vincent DePaul will sponsor the 2nd annual Friends of the Poor Walk, “Walk A Mile In My Shoes”, on Saturday, September 11th. The walk will begin at their 70 North Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown location, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending around 3:00 p.m. Walkers can walk as much or as little as they wish, and can attend a day of gospel music and refreshments. Those donating more than $10 will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last). All funds will assist the poor and needy of Fayette County. To donate or for more information, call 724-785-9507.
