Event Description: German Township Firefighters Association is hosting the 72nd Fayette County Firemen’s Association Annual Convention, from Sunday, July 11th through Saturday, July 17th, at the McClellandtown Vol. Fire Company’s fairgrounds. After a week of firefighter competitions and evening entertainment, a festival with live music, food, and games will conclude with a huge parade on Saturday, July 17th. Sponsors are currently being sought for their convention program, which will be distributed to many in attendance of the week-long festivities, as well as all fire departments in Fayette County.
