Event Description: The Uniontown Art Club will present this event from May 8th – 23rd. The artist mediums represented in the show include oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and mixed media paintings on various surfaces, digital and traditional photography, computer art, carved and painted wood, enameled jewelry, pencil drawings, paint on fabric, tubular knits, batik, and hand-built, wheel-thrown and raku ceramics. New this year is a young artist component, in which art club members were invited to mentor students (grades 7-12). Awards in the form of scholarships and art supplies will be presented at the opening reception, on Saturday, May 8th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., and will include refreshments and live music featuring the White Roses. The exhibit will be opened daily from noon - 5:00 p.m., through May 23rd, and is FREE and open to the public. During the exhibit, weekend classes will be taking place at Touchstone and guests are invited to walk the campus and explore the opportunities Touchstone offers.
