Clothing, connections, confidence! The mission of Dress for Success Pittsburgh is to empower women who are entering and returning to the workforce across the region. Dress for Success Pittsburgh serves women who are referred by nonprofit organizations, including domestic violence agencies, homeless shelters and job-training programs.

  • Volunteer Bakers Needed We can’t have a Pittsburgh-style cookie table at the 20th Anniversary Black & Gold Celebration without our wonderful bakers!     Over the last 4 months, four students from Washington & Jefferson College have been working on a Capstone project where they revamped our Connections Resource Center! Join us in thanking them and wishing them well: 🎓 Adam Conner 🎓 Antonia Meier 🎓 Ryan Morley 🎓 Chibuike Ugwu The Connections Resource Center (CRC), is an inclusive virtual platform that delivers vital resources to aide in every stage of your career journey. In an effort to overcome barriers to employment readiness, Dress for Success Pittsburgh now has translators to communicate more efficiently with the women we serve. Women can log on to the CRC anywhere to search job boards, interview and employment preparation resources, professional styling guides, advice on navigating workplace culture, and physical, mental, and emotional health resources.     MGC Member Nicole Nicotero-Sicilia will be hosting an MGC Networking Event on Friday, May 17 from 6pm - 9pm at Piatt Sotheby's International Realty - Sewickley Guests are encouraged to bring a pair of shoes in good condition in all styles and sizes (including safety) are welcome and needed, in addition to unopened personal care items and gently used handbags and professional jewelry.   • Warehouse Wednesdays take place the first and third Wednesday of each month and provide a perfect opportunity for volunteer groups of 8-12 individuals. Choose any 2–3 hour timeframe that suits your employee resource group or civic association, bring snacks and drinks if you’d like, and come ready to organize clothing, shoe, and personal care items donations to restock the mobile boutiques. Your group’s support will help the mobile services team ensure local women have everything they need to feel strong and confident as they take the next step in their career journey!
